Family In Focus Newsletter - Second Edition!
The Mission Early Childhood Development Committee in conjunction with the Understanding the Early Years project
has created Mission's first Parents Newsletter - "Family In Focus" - highlighting what our project has accomplished in our community,
as well as, helpful tips about your child's development with some suggestions for children's activities and play.
Mission's Community Mapping Study!
The Mission Early Childhood Development Committee in conjunction with the Understanding the Early Years project
presents the release of Mission's Community Mapping Study! Based on research conducted in Mission, British Columbia,
this report provides the results of this study which was designed to gather information about: our community's physical, social and economic
environments; the programs and services supporting families with young children; and 'readiness to learn' upon school entry of all kindergarten children. Two
reports were created reflecting the differences in EDI vulnerabilities at the national and provincial levels.

2006 EDI RESULTS!
The Mission Early Childhood Development Committee in conjunction with the Understanding the Early Years project
presents the release of the 2003/2006 EDI change maps! Please check out how well our youngsters are doing prior to
